The primers worked well... But there is one flaw with the ginex that no one else has mentioned yet. The primer walls must be stiffer than other brands I used before (CCI, s&b, wolf even), because they VERY difficult to prime on certain 556 brass - LC and Federal and Aguila in particular. Many require extra force to prime, and usually that will deform the brass bottom unfortunately. I have already removed any crimps on the brass, but it appears that is not enough. You need a reamer, so be prepared to spend lots of time reaming brass if you use mostly range pickup brass. It's annoying and even though the price is cheaper than others, I would have opted to spend more money on other brands. I never had this problem with other brands, even military CCI.

The primers were as advertised and arrived on time. They do fit a little more snug in the primer pockets but I view that as a good thing as it eliminates loose primer pockets.

Shipping was a bit slow but a new shipper would fix that.

I would like to give a review of the Ginex primers however I cannot, you see, I ordered Ginex small rifle primers but received a different brand of small pistol primers. This amused me because I needed small pistol primers but that's not what I ordered. I decided to keep the small pistol primers because I didn't want to pay hazmat and Shipping both ways and contact Powder Valley about it. The primers at the time were the same price and quantity so we decided to call it even. These things happen and it no big deal so I will remain a customer of Powder Valley and will order products from them.

Had difficulty seating properly with previously crimped brass. I used the RCBS trim mate and my Dillon 1050 built-in swager to remove the crimp before seating and this is the only primer that I have had issues with. Switched over to CCI #41 and had no issues. Either swage the heck out of your brass or stay away from seating these in crimped brass like LC brass. Had no issues setting them off with a 3.5lb trigger.

just tested them, seemed to work just fine, they were just a little tighter in the pocket. pressure signs were consistent with the cci's i use

While priced right, the cups on the small rifle primers I received are a little on the soft side. I had some deform while seating. In addition, I loaded the same load in .223 Ackley Improved cases with these and Remington 7 1/2 primers. The remington primers had rounded shoulders, the Unis Ginex Small rifle primers severely flattened. They do seem to be slightly larger in diameter as well, compared to RP/Federal SR primers.

I have only loaded and fired a small amount. The fit is tight and secure which I am very happy with. No failures thus far.

Haven't used any yet, fast shipping and all looks good.

Powder Valley is my first stop for reloading supplies. Their service is great and shipping is fast. I haven't used the primers yet.

Have pressed in 300+ of these primers already and shot about half of them yesterday. All ignited properly and my chrony data showed good shot-to-shot consistency. I just hope supplies are consistent in the future.
