Primers, what can I say about primers... My only complaint is the price, 2-3 year's ago at 3¢ a primer, I can only hope that we can see this pricing again "I'm not going to hold my breath"...
Primers haven't changed and the part's that make them haven't either changed... So why has the cost gone up!!! Of all the variables that have effected the cost inflation, material scarcity, and people paying the obscene price has made manufacturers see that we we're willing to buy at this bloated price and they don't mind making the money???
On a different note Powder Valley has never failed me, they are a great company and I will look forward to a long future!...

Winchester #41 primers are easy to load and ignite as planned.

I mistook these for large rifle primers, but I will get to them soon enough. I can use them.

On sale when I bought them, performed well so far. Pulled out another brick I bought just a few years ago. Still had the $39.99 price tag on it!!

Comes in a plain white box that doesn't even indicate which side is the top. Not like other times I have purchased this primer. Be careful when opening because it is easy to spill them! The type and lot are marked on each individual sleeve but not the box itself. These sleeves have a slightly larger dimension and won't fit in other primer boxes.

Availability of high grade components and quick turnaround to my step has been great.

I've used the cci #41 primers and the Winchester #41 and both work well for 5.56. I would recommend them over standard the standard srp (especially cci 400) for higher pressure loads.
