Hornady .224 Diameter 40 Grain Polymer Tip V-Max Bullets

These are not the bullet that will shoot the tiniest of groups in most of my rifles… but they will shoot small enough groups in every one of my rifles to make them very worth while. At half or less the cost of other bullets esp at this sale price they are worth every penny of their cost… great, consistent bullet for my purposes… groups out to 300 ish yards and loading a couple thousand rounds for prairie dog/ground squirrel season out to 300+ yards depending on wind conditions. I don’t own a centerfire 22 cal gun slower than a 7” twist that won’t shoot these to an acceptable level of accuracy… if you’re shooting to 300 yards or less and are looking for an affordable high volume bullet with better accuracy than standard FMJ crap you won’t be disappointed.

Thay work as advertised.

This bullet made my .222 Rem. (14 twist barrel) really effective in the PD fields. The higher velocity (compared to a 50 gr.) made a considerable difference both in expansion and flatter shooting. An amazing difference.
