Excellent Brass at a great price.

I just received my order, and on examining the cases, found that the case necks were nice and round, with no dents. I found the case length varied from 2.0045" to 2.008", with most cases gauging 2.0065". That is better than some lots of Lapua brass I have bought. Plus, there were 51 cases in each bag. Bonus!

The combination is a stellar set up for my 300 Savage rifle. Converting the 308 cases worked out very well and the results at the range were better than anticipated.

To start with, the brass was pack nicely. It arrived in a timely manner. At first look the brass looked good. When I started to reload them, I found that the primer pockets were tight, and the case necks where already chambered and debarred. Just a nice piece of brass to work with.

Consisten primer seating, the brass is flexible, would recommend these to anyone who reloads

First thing I did was check the cases in a Wilson case gauge. All were within specifications. Second I used my uniforming primer tool. Primer pockets were perfect with no brass removed. I then FL resized the cases. The only thing that resized was the neck. Some necks were misshapened due to shipping. After that neck chamferring was easy. Remington 9 1/2 LR primers easily seated in the primer pockets. All in all I am well pleased with these cases. I was not concerned with case weight or neck dimensions. I have used other Starline 308 cases and shot less than MOA.

Starline is great brass, and the service from Powder Valley was fast and easy.

These Starline rifle cases were on sale so I thought I would freshen up my stash of .308. I love my Starline pistol cases so I'm hoping the rifle cases serve me just as well. I've loaded up 30 rounds but haven't gone to the range yet. Time will tell if they hold up but I'm confident they will.
