Description

Accurate #11FS Propellant

No. 11FS is a double-base spherical propellant intended for self defense and full power loads in smaller capacity rifle cartridges and magnum handguns. This propellant incorporates a flash suppressant that significantly reduces muzzle signature in low light conditions. No. 11FS can produce high velocity with lighter bullets in .300 blackout making it an excellent choice for shooters seeking downrange performance. Made in the USA.

This powder is especially suited for Magnum loads with heavy bullets in .44 Magnum and 460 S&W Magnum. It produces far less flash and blast than H110/296 (exactly the same powder, just sold by different companies). Also surprisingly good for cast bullets with a swaged copper base, much harder all alloys with 6% Antimony, 10% Tin, 1-2% Silver & 0.5% Arsenic. This yields a Brinell hardness of approximately 28-30, which is needed in order to properly take the rifling without leading the barrel. Also, the hydrodynamic shock wave (anyone who uses “hydrostatic shock” is profoundly ignorant of even the most elementary level of the physics of flow dynamics) is maximally enhanced with a ɓroad, flat bullet face. Please be certain that you thoroughly stir the alloy.
