Fantastic Elk Bullet! I load these in my granddaughter’s 7mm Wby Mag with Norma Brass, Federal 215M, and RL 26 (when I can get it), if not I use Ramshot Grand. From a 24″ barrel RL 26 will be between 3,301 & 3,318 FPS. Grand will be 3,265 to 3,276 FPS. Accuracy is 1/2 MOA with both loads. She killed 3 6X6 Bulls using them. When she was 12 1/2 years old dropped her 1st bull at 375 yards. Bullet retained 86% of its weight. Bull scored 320 1/4″. Following year dropped a massive 6X8 that scored 374 3/8″ at a distance of 286 yards. This year she shot an average 6X6 at 325 yards. Bullet retained 83% of it’s original weight. My only complaint is that they are hard to find and I have resorted to pulling them from loaded 7mm Rem Mag ammo.

First time I’ve found them as a reloading component since they came out pre-pandemic. So far, I’ve only shot them in a 7mm-08 with a 1 in 8.5 twist barrel, they are 1.514″ long and I don’t know if they will stabilize in my 280’s, however, they shoot tiny little ragged holes in the 7mm-08 and great velocity with RL17 powder. Thank you, Powder Valley, you came thru again!!
