    WOW. Flawless. I bought Lapua brass 3 1/2 years ago for a new rifle and now after 13 loadings I had one case fail. I’ve had domestic “Premium” brass that split after only a couple firings. Best I’ve ever had.

    My Son and I have hunted Pronghorn, Mule Deer and Elk using the 6.5-284 cartridge and the Hornady 147 ELD-M (and the 140 A-Max before that) with fantastic results. While I have to admit the old .270 Winchester is still my absolute favorite, this 6.5-284 certainly does the job, and farther out than the .270 can. Lapua cases have been the most consistent for us over the years. Powder Valley has earned our business due to their reasonable prices and reliable shipping. Happy hunting!
