This Sierra 107 grain .243 6mm HPBT MatchKing bullet was introduced several years ago and has already set new records and won national championships. These have been competitions requiring extreme accuracy at long range, such as National Match High Power and Silhouette. While these MatchKing bullets are recognized worldwide they are not always recommended for hunting applications. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1×8″ or faster.

    At this point I’ve gone through about 800 of the 107 grain SMK in my 6mm BRA I can confidently say this bullet flat out shoots. I’m running Alpha Brass, Varget, and 205M primers and have been consistently shooting tiny groups in the 0.3s and sometimes better. On my last range trip I shot a 1 inch group at 600 yards. I tried a few other bullets, but the 107 has been the top performer and I’ll keep using it for the life of the barrel.
