Vihtavuori N170 1 Pound of Smokeless Powder

Vihtavuori N170 rifle powder is one of the slowest burning powders available, great for large-capacity cases. Like all VihtaVuory rifle powders, N170 grains are cylindrical, single-perforated extruded with relatively large grain size. This powder is a great choice for magnums such as .300 Weatherby and .300 Remington Ultra. This is a popular choice for big game hunting and target shooting loads.

    This powder works fantastic in my 300 PRC. Using a 212 grain ELDX bullet I did not see pressure until I made it up to 87 grains of powder. I was shooting 3158 ft./s. I backed it down to 85 grains and am shooting at 3050 ft./s in 40° weather. Zero signs of pressure. I love this stuff.
